The real Sasha fierce.
I love how this editorial is just clothes, impeccable styling and a whole load of fierceness. And if you were wondering, this editorial accompanied a Dolce & Gabanna story for February's Interview. Shot by Mikael Jansson and styled by Karl Templer.

The past two days have been thoroughly adventurous (:
Yesterday, I finally went with Mary to RG to collect my O'Level cert. YES the one everyone else collected one year ago. Seriously, noone told me I was supposed to collect it. And everyone just went without telling me! So it's not my fault it took me so long before I went to get it.
Anyway, back at RG, I realised why I was a very miserable person back in secondary school... Have you seen that place! It is humid and stuffy with no nice breezy places and no pretty spaces. And don't get me started on the very dark and ugly and dull canteen. & then I was very very happy with how RJ is rather pretty and very breezy (too breezy sometimes, coupled with the fact that we have very wide pleated skirts which fly about with the wind... not very cute.). And I'm like super excited for them to finish the ecogarden thing which looks more like an animal enclosure in the zoo because it is filled with huge rock structures and a bridge over the water and it even has glass tiles on the ground so you can see the water flowing beneath the pebbles under your feet. So excitingggggg.
So anyway, yes. I realised yesterday how RG was just not very pretty. And right, there is this vibe about the school. That makes you instantly uncool. Somehow. Because you see, we were trying to take a picture. But every picture we took had us looking terribly uncool. Which I know you would say is nothing new, that we are uncool everywhere. But seriously... Just look.
Hahahahahahahahaha. Oh oh and there was this SUPER hilarious TV thing in the canteen, I think it's RG's version of RJ's flat screen TVs around school that makes announcements that noone other than me reads.
Hahahaha so not half as chic as the TVs we have in our school.
I sound so hateful and ungrateful to my secondary school. It's not that I hate it. Well, not reallyyyyy. But like I just think it isn't very pretty. There of course were things that I kind of missed, like mm the first stall canteen aunty and mmmm the nice huge gym. Which we went into to crash tarian auditions. Tarian back is RG is a damn fierce CCA because you have TWO million people auditioning and limited spaces, so cute okay.
Today was our PRMIR Exco roadtrip around the city which was so hot and tiring and painful to the already painful (because of PE) legs but so fun and adventurous.
Haha more pictures
here if you want to steal them! Hardly any pictures with the boys because they missed out on all the very exciting bits cus they had to go for prayers.
After that was even more walking around town and Haji Lane for very many hours with this very fierce girl.
Hahahahaha sorry Cheryl, I just had to. Not that I haven't been mean enough to you. But I'm sure you'll forgive me for posting this picture. This is for encouraging me to eat two scoops of icecream even after my VERY complete meal & for your very prompt new year's eve reply.
I still love you though (:

Why my father has the effort to drive all the way up to Malaysia just for dinner is beyond me... But it's okay, dinner was good. Especially since a certain "plus one" wasn't there (: Oh and I had the nicest effing catfish everrrrrrrrr. And I also ate too much of everything... This would hopefully translate to eating less of everything in the days to come... Seeing how Height+Weight during PE on Friday has showed me HOW MUCH WEIGHT I'VE GAINED. ): ): ): Not cute seriouslyyyyyyyyyyy
Because there was nothing else to do in the backseat...

Not even through the first week of school and I've already sunk into that depressing miserable state. ): Shawn asks me if its men or shoes... According to him, girls only get upset about these two things. Thank god for funny friends or I would have died a while ago.
Because pictures always show us being happy...

First day was really not that bad. I can be such a drama queen at times... We ended up having like two lessons, in which we didn't do anything much. One lasted like half the period and the other was with our new Econs teacher so most of the time she was getting to know our (imaginary) names. I would have loved to call myself "Ah Huat" or "Duchess" but she never reached me.
Anyway, guess who's sitting at THE.FIRST.ROW. for Jason Mraz on 5March (:
Section PA, Row 1! How much fiercer could our seats possibly get... (: Ahh so exciting I cannot waitttttxzxzxzxzxzxz
Oh and today I wondered how you would spell "Mrs." out. Kind of like Mr is spelt as Mister. Apparently,
In literature it may appear as “missus” or “missis” in dialogue.
Wow so we all learn something new everyday. But where the heck did the R in mRs come from really...
Okay am going to attempt channel this geekiness into something that actually matters... like physics.

Tomorrow is the first day of school. And I am not at all ready for it. I have done NOTHING, for the past many months and wow, took me this long to realise.
So much for thinking I was miraculously going to become a better student this year. Urghhhhhh my stupid wishful thinking disgusts me beyond belief. I tend to be narcissitic at times, but right now, I hate myself
more than anyone in the entire world (for two seconds there, I forgot what disgusting people there are in the world) quite a lot.

Today marked the first productive day of the year (: Despite the occasional people-watching and "omg I need to listen to a mindblowingly amazing song" and the food/drink breaks, I did a decent amount of math and physics. I think being productive actually feels very rewarding, except it's very hard to get "into the zone".
Oh and today we finally got to strike off one thing from Nabil's 100 things we need to try eating/drinking.
& it actually tastes as nice as it looks. The raspberry one is wayyyyy nicer than the lime one by the way. It's yummy and fizzy and raspberryyy. (:
Urgh and do you knowwww. that I still haven't found cherry pie ): ): ): Why is it sooooooooooo hard to find ):
Today I wanted to visit the Netherland dwarf I fell in love with last week only to know that someone bought it): ): ): But there were two other white ones with gray ears which were cute beyond belief but were already sold. Except they were still in the pet store because they are too young to be transported about. How cute. I don't think I can wait till I turn eighteen before I get a bunny. ):

We all know Christmas was SO LAST YEAR (as in literally). But seeing how
we all pretend to be busy career women a certain one of us has decided to ground herself until after the A'Levels, we only met up today to exchange our Secret Santa gifts. Because this is worth remembering: WE WERE ALL ON TIME. (: (: (:
(My camera always only has the most boring pictures, because it is obvious I am a very passive photographer. Amelina&Izzah&Husena, I want pictures please!)
Husena got me a tiara which my sister is so completely envious of. Hehe thanks Husenaaaaaaaaaaaa <3 <3 <3 Sorry you got me for two consecutive years!
Ooh and we took neoprints!! (Yes that makes it twice in a week for me. I feel like such a primary school kid. But it is always so exciting not understanding what the machine says and hoping the pictures don't turn out hideous.)
Let's keep this up every year like we promised! Even if it means couriering the pathetic scraps of tissue paper we draw each other's names from. Yay I love us and I love the fact that our initials spell AMINAH. HOW CUTE IS THAT.

I am becoming a very old eighteen soon. I need to stop doing this whole "crying over nothing really" thing just because thinking about life and well, big things make me feel like the most miserable fuck.

I'm not in the best blogging mood, but because I know if I don't blog about it now, I never will. And then I wouldnt be playing to my resolution of blogging more. Here I am. (How I wish I could have such self-discipline when it comes to sticking to my studying resolution.)
Class chalet for the past two days was rather exciting, I love my classmates. This year's going to be the craziest academic year ever but it comforts me to know I'm going through it all with my classmates.
Just one picture because I uploaded the rest on Facebook.
Here &
here! So yes, go steal them yourself because I am way too lazy to send them to you. Unless you ask nicely enough... & Don't make me do the tagging thing I do not wish to try and figure out how that thing works.
As angsty as I may be right now, this picture makes me laugh so much. Just look at Daryl and his pornstar face hahahahahhahaha. Yes we took neoprints (: So exciting I havent taken neoprints in foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
We also did alot of things I never/haven't done in a long time. Like play pool, which I PROMISE I HAVE SOME HIDDEN TALENT FOR. The balls just always seem to work with me, no matter how badly I hit the cue ball. The worst of course, was the time I actually DIDN'T hit the cue ball and hit another ball instead. HOW.THE.HECK. does that happen. I bet it doesn't happen to anyone else but me):
And we bowled too! My arms are like still tired, I think the ball was too heavy. But it's not my fault the lighter balls didn't come in pink. I don't want to use an ugly ball obviously. Oh and our score board was so cute. Like you can pick themes! Like fairytale, so everytime you hit alot of pins like the wizard will appear on the screen and reward you. Or disco, where these silouettes would start dancing (:
Other than that, I finally learnt to play poker, I think it's a stupid game. Because I love raising the bid even if I have the suckiest cards and end up losing everything. I just always like to pretend I'm good. & played a shitload of card games. & played at the arcade where I am totally disgusted by the fact that we only won FIVE coupons which does not even get you one sweet and that we didn't manage to catch a Stitch plushie with that stupid claw machine thing ): & talked about everything from scandalous RI stories (this topic is like almost a staple in all our long conversations, it is just seriously very exciting) to Kimberly, the pink ranger in Power Rangers a very very very long time ago to Alaric's prospective wife till 7am. & wore Alexander McQueen Spring'09 nets on our heads and used stewardess hairspray to attempt fierce hairdos. & took forever to fall asleep because Daryl's "to sleep" selection of songs is so inappropriate (think Smack That) and ended up sleeping for an hour until Shawn started snoring and I couldn't go back to sleep I was very tempted to smack his head with the pillow. & played very physical Twister where the boys were just having the time of their lives smearing themselves all over each other.
Fun, but like I said, I'm just really not in the mood to blog. Toodlezzz

A few years back, I was playing the Kook's version of this song on loop at least a million times. Ahh I love this cover just as much even if I'm only discovering it so many years later. It's one of the songs from Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Which by the way, is such a cute movie! And apart from cute British boys and the rather cute cat (I am so not a cat person, but the cat was seriouslyyyyyy damn cute. Doesn't mean I wouldn't freak out if I actually saw it in person... But cute nonetheless.), my favourite thing about the movie was the soundtrack which I thought was damn flyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
Second day of the year and I haven't really stuck to my resolution of STUDYING MY ASS OFF ): ): ): Tomorrow is going to be a lot a lot more productive, I promise.
Minus the part where my phone decided to become a complete bitch, the year has been rather kind to me (: Today I went with Andrew to one of his fancy "undercover as a finicky customer" jobs. I realised I would never ever make like a good secret agent or anything cus like I am so bad at pretending. I would have the tendency to want to just laugh or giggle, it's so uncool. And then I would start feeling guilty lying to someone who was so nice to me. Ahh well. And then we caught up and discussed obscene secondary school Biology videos over good lemon pudding. Haha after that I watched everbody's favourite teenage drama queen get his haircut and then I'm thinking how.am.I.supposed.to.go.four.months.without.a.haircut.
Yes, if you havent realised, part of my resolutions for the year is to blog more because I am a freaking amnesiac and forget everything that happened a few days before... It's so disgusting, really. So expect my entries to be full of petty details.

I'm usually all about omens, but I hope that today is not a reflection of how 2009 will be. Because my phone screwed up on me and I'm like super freaking sad because I love my phone despite it being at the ugliest state ever seeing how it's slammed into the ground a few thousand times. I like laughing at random old text messages and reading schmaltzy ones that get me into a delirious state ):
But today wasn't all that bad because we had dinner as a family (plus one, but she shall be ignored). And we haven't had dinner as a family in theeeeeeee longest time. And it just felt nice and good talking and bitching about waitresses who look like they don't know what you're saying so I didn't really care that we were eating a lot of chicken. (:
Speaking of food, I'm craving cherry pie so badly. I don't even know why, I don't remember ever eating cherry pie in my life, but I just feel like eating cherry pie): Does anyone know where I can have cherry pieeeeeeeeeeee?
