As promised! :D

SINGFEST'08 was omgsoawesome:D It was also hot and stuffy and painful and dirty and vulgar and really really tiring, but it was worth it. Because I insisted we be RIGHT in front for Jason Mraz, we had to slowly maneuver our way to the front in between performances. But ohgod it was soooooooooooo extremely gross upfront because it's soooooo squeeeezy and not only is heat coming from the weather, you could feel the heat radiating from PEOPLE. Especially really stupid people who wear BLACK. And well, as with all encounters with lots of people, would come lots of vulgarities because people are just hateful beings. I was so super duper tired by the time it was Jason Mraz, that half the time I wasn't really standing. But I didn't need to, because seeing how there were people around, I was still kept upright. (We managed to go ALL THE WAY to the front by the way, like we were so close I bet if we looked hard enough we'd be able to see Jason Mraz's nose hair.)

Jason Mraz totally owned the show of course :D (And any other non-Mraz fans would agree.) He sounded soooooooooooooo extremely super live. And he is soooooooooo charming. Like he would laugh and giggle and talk and play games with the audience. AHH. :D

OneRepublic was REALLY GOOD TOO. I was surprised how they didn't sound ANYTHING short of what they sound in audio. AND THE BASSIST/VIOLABOY IS SO CUTE:D OHH. I got a OneRepublic Fiji bottle! So fangirl, I know. But I really didnt intend to get it, he just flung it into the audience and I didn't bother trying to catch it because everyone around me was like HOW TALL. But it landed straight into my lap, god knows how, so I got it anyway. :D I have it on the shelf of my table now. With OneRepublic cells. Haha.

Panic! was fine. But the mic stopped working on Brandon for a while, and he didn't know it because he's probably used to singing without hearing himself. It was so sad. Because he was SINGING HIS HEART OUT. But they wasn't any sound. Everyone of us was trying to tell him, but he didn't get it. After a WHOLE SONG, when he wanted to talk to the audience through the mic, did he realise it wasn't working. Ahh well. I was quite happy they sang lots of songs from their old album though because I loved them back then and only knew the older songs.

WE MET JAMIE SCOTT. HE IS OMG SO GOODLOOKING. "When will I see your face again" has been on my playlist for so very long, but I never bothered to find out how he looks. I would've loved the song SO much more if I knew how bloody gorgeous he is. Haha so yes, we were at some corner, where mundane people like you and I would walk. And he was just THERE. And I, being me, just shrieked and he shrieked back at me. We took a picture! But it's with Shi Hui, so I'll post it some other day when I have it.

PCD was kind of surreal. Maybe because I was rather zonked out by then. They didn't sound good but they looked perfect, with their dance moves and all. Like completely right out of the TV screen. I used to think only Nicole was pretty, but they're all equally hot. I especially liked the brunette. Either my math failed me because I was tired or there were only five of them... Isn't there supposed to be more?

Alicia Keys was late. and exhaustive. I think she sang close to two hours. But I was sooooo tired by then, I actually slept through half her performance. Hah. Sorry. But she sounded really good whenever I heard her. And she was complete with her backup singers, who I'm sure Alaric would have loved if he saw. Hehe.

So yay okay as a whole Singfest was fierce and I love Jason Mraz. Hopefully next year's got a line up as good as, if not better than this year's. :D

Oh oh and before I go,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW THAM! :D

xx
